Our Story
Delmar Publishing was founded by Dr. Marilou Ryder, bestselling author, educator, former school superintendent, and longtime advocate for women and leadership. After writing and publishing her own books, Marilou understood both the excitement and the challenges of bringing a book into the world. She founded Delmar with a simple belief: authors deserve professional guidance, a genuine partnership, and the opportunity to bring their ideas to life without losing the voice and vision that inspired them to write.
Today, Delmar Publishing is a boutique publishing house focused on books by, for, and about women and girls. Our publications celebrate women's leadership, amplify voices that deserve to be heard, preserve remarkable stories, and share ideas that inspire change.
